Molly – “The First”

Hi,

I’m Molly and I’m 6 years old. I can’t write my letters very good so Aunt Vallie is helping me write this letter. Someday, I’ll be able to read books and write real good, just like she does.

I like to play outside and run as fast as I can. That’s my favorite thing in the whole wide world! Aunt Vallie is my best friend and we play together every day. I like that a lot too!

My favorite thing to do when we are inside is help Aunt Vallie bake cookies especially the little peanut butter cookies with a chocolate kiss on the top. She lets me stand on a chair and help her cook sometimes. I know how to make scrambled eggs and cinnamon toast. Yum.

I like to go to the grocery store with her to buy all the stuff we need. I never knew there were so many different things to eat and so many stores to shop in. I like everything here at Aunt Vallie’s house.

I don’t know what I want to do when I get big. Maybe I can be like Aunt Vallie and take care of children who don’t have a home. But right now, I would just like to have a brother or a sister. Aunt Vallie said that this letter is for someone who might adopt me and give me a new home someday. Maybe there will be children there.

Good bye. I’m going outside to pick flowers now.
